Hemingway I too remember black, but we only had 2-volume stories edition; was there ever full collected works? Mayakovsky: I always associated with the color of dried-up suicidal blood.
This holiday was pleasantly warm everywhere, it seems: same mild and sunny weather in MI as in NH.
